When waiting, don’t wait

When waiting for your breakthrough, don’t just wait and see how things will unfold. Get up and keep moving forward.

When waiting for your promotion, don’t just wait there ‘till it happens. Keep on equipping yourself, keep on paving your way to your promotion.

When waiting for  a “change” in your life, don’t just wait and let your day pass by.  Change the way you see things and change the way you work then change will come.

When waiting for your big moment, don’t just wait and agonize yourself on waiting. Make each moment count because your big moment starts from that seemingly “unimportant” one.

When waiting for the answer to your prayers, don’t just wait for the answer to fall on your lap. Keep on seeking GOD, obey HIS words and ALL THESE things shall be added unto you.

When waiting for your dreams to come true, don’t just wait and keep on fantasizing on all of these “what ifs”. Wake up, get yourself to work and realize your dreams.

When waiting for the love of your life, don’t wait there ‘till she/he comes. Groom yourself while waiting better wait, don’t wait, shift your focus on your GOD-given assignment and while doing so, God will be your perfect match-maker.

So, are you waiting for “something” to happen in your life? I read it elsewhere that when you don’t know what lies ahead, the best way to predict is to create them. Create your future today. What does your “faith” tells you of your future? No matter how big that is, it boils down to this: Your ACTIONS TODAY will lead you on realizing your dreams.

Let me end with these verses:

Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works; and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God. You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.  James 2: 21-24, ESV
