LOVE always finds its way to win

What a great reminder! Facebook has once again notified me to check some memories to look back on today… and these are my words exactly a year ago.

The month of February never fails to make a fuss about romantic love. Some look forward to it whilst some intentionally forgot… and some didn’t mind at all.

While I was writing a simple note to a dear friend, I suddenly had the nudge to write this simple note. This is in fact on-the-spot. I usually write my notes on my phone first but today, I am directly penning the words down on my Facebook note! 🙂

Do not turn your back on LOVE because that is the  FOUNDATION of giving… of serving… of understanding…

GIVING: Like someone said, “you can give without loving but you can not love without giving.” When you love someone, it is your joy to give. Your love drives you to give. It is exactly how GOD demonstrated HIS love towards us. “For GOD so LOVE the world that HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON…” John 3:16.  He gives because He is love.

SERVING: I was watching the movie of Uma Thurman last night, “Motherhood” and it captivated my heart how a mother can juggle all things with just 2 hands, 1 mind, 1 heart, 1 body. I think that is how powerful LOVE is. It gives you so much joy in serving… and I believe, anyone who serve apart from LOVE will easily run dry and quickly burn out. What I learnt is that LOVE is our fuel in serving. Remember when Jesus asked Peter three times about his love towards Him? Peter answered Jesus “yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” then Jesus said, “Feed my lambs. Take care of my sheep. Feed my sheep.” Just as Jesus served out of love, let our service be an expression of our love towards Him.

UNDERSTANDING: I don’t think anyone on earth could fully comprehend all things. We could not even fully understand what LOVE is… but one thing I know is that, if we try to understand all things with our human senses, we will get lost. Sometimes we just have to drop our right to “understand” and just love. I was reading 1 Corinthians 6:7 this morning and Paul said “Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded?” I was reminded once again that true love doesn’t necessarily seek for self-justification. It just love… and sooner we will know how LOVE can transform us and the people around us.

Let love take the upper hand… because I believe the sincerity of that LOVE will always finds its way to WIN.

The month of LOVE may have just ended yesterday but I always look forward to tomorrow as LOVE never ends… 😉
